Wandering Waters Studio is my (Karen Faller) home studio of artistic wanderings. I’m an encaustic artist, painter, printmaker, and random-other-media artist, originally from Canada and now living in Madison, WI.  I use nature, past travels, change, and impermanence as common themes to explore in different media, and am currently loving working with encaustic painting – combining it with re-purposed barnwood, driftwood, sketches, rusty metal, prints, old maps, and sewing patterns.  It’s so open to experimenting which suits me – the mixing of topic and materials is a fun one!  Have a look around, check out latest news for upcoming art fairs or random musings and email me if you have any questions. I’m always happy to talk about the process!

If you’d like to look at art pieces for sale please check out:  https://squareup.com/store/wanderingwaters or visit Woodland Studios in Stoughton, WI (a really great gallery), where some of my pieces are being shown.

The website will have new pieces for sale as I have time to upload them (not always a timely task for me).
